SUSTAIN Apricot Slice Recipe
Ingredients:
45g Margarine
1 Egg White
150g Plain Flour
2 tbsp Brown Sugar, well packed
4 C Kelloggs Just Right
60g Dried Apricots
2 tbsp Light Golden Syrup
Directions:
In a large saucepan, combine margarine, corn syrup and brown sugar and bring to the boil.
Remove from heat, add apricots and Kelloggs Sustain. Mix well.
Place mixture into a food processor and process until apricots and cereal are finely chopped.
Beat egg white until slightly frothy, add to cereal mix and process until combined.
Press mixture firmly into a well greased, paper lined 20cm square cake pan.
Bake in a moderate oven (180 degrees) for 10 minutes or until firm.
Remove from oven, cool in pan for 10 minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool.
Cut into bars to serve.
