Barbecued Sausages with Pickled Red Onion and Tomato Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
Salt Freshly Ground Black Pepper 3 tbsp Caster Sugar
1 c Cherry Tomatoes, halved 3 tbsp Chopped Parsley 3 Red Onions, very thinly sliced 4 tbp Red Wine Vinegar Lettuce Leaves 12 Traditional Beef Sausages
Directions: Put the onions, vinegar and sugar into a large bowl, mix well and set a side to pickle for 20 minutes until the onions are well wilted.
Add the tomatoes and parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Barbecue the sausages until cooked and serve them with the salad on lettuce leaves on the side.
